Qualcomm CEO: U.S. now leading wave of mobile innovation
Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs said Wednesday that the U.S. was starting to reverse the long-held notion that the country trailed Europe in mobile-phone technology. "Look at what's coming out for mobile data, mobile TV and where we are right now, the epicenter of high-level OS development for mobile devices. That's a pretty good sign we're leading," he said. T-Mobile, RadioShack in retail deal
RadioShack will sell T-Mobile USA's phones and services in more than 4,000 of its retail stores beginning later this summer. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it will double the number of retail outlets selling T-Mobile products, and will make RadioShack T-Mobile's largest retail partner. RadioShack only sells a selection of T-Mobile's products online right now. T-Mobile joins Alltel, AT&T Mobility and Sprint Nextel on RadioShack shelves. Read more on CNET.com
